Only verified insurance or HMO partners should be presented as active network partners. In Nigeria, VirtualMedix should work with appropriately accredited and authorized organizations rather than presenting itself as an insurer.

Eligibility before commitment
A coverage check can record the requested service, policy membership, estimated covered amount, authorization requirement and patient responsibility. Until a partner integration is live, estimates remain clearly labelled as provisional.

Privacy and payer separation
Insurance participation does not create blanket access to a patient’s medical record. Clinical access remains controlled by role, consent, authorization and applicable privacy requirements.
